Drill cutting re-injection system

System description:

A mix of drill cuttings and fluids are fed into the Dowtec separator/carbonizer and processed into re-usable drill fluids and a granulated solid.

The drill fluids can be re-used for ongoing or future drilling operations and the recovery rate is approx 75%.

The granulated solids are fed into the slurry unit and mixed with a modified biopolymer, SEPORID™, and is then injected to the dedicated re-injection well.

Optional re use of the granulated solids are:

-          Cementing of casing

-          Component for drill mud

-          Protection of subsea structures

-          Insulation of subsea components

-          Backfill in trenches
